PLANK-U is the fitness school inside of the ACADEMY which features one new high intensity interval workout per month. These workouts are designed for beginner/intermediate fitness levels. The workouts are approximately 15 minutes in length but it's suggested that you complete a minimum of two rounds. Some require small weights or resistance bands which will be indicated. These are high intensity interval workouts designed to maximize fat burn, increase strength and muscle mass.

Courses and content in the academy are curated and facilitated by BLACK HEALTH ACADEMY Founder, Lisa A. Smith, along with a select and diverse group of affiliates including health care professionals, nutritionists and certified industry specific experts.
ABOUT LISA
Lisa A. Smith, MBA, is the founder of Professionally Fit INC and The Black Health Academy. She began her own weight loss journey in 2012 at 190lbs. She fell in love with fitness, nutrition and self-development, lost over 60lbs and gained a bottomless amount of confidence. It wasn't until she gained confidence in her physical health that she was able to gain confidence in her career. With her new found confidence she launched Professionally Fit in July of 2015. Professionally Fit is an executive coaching platform which provides both the customization and accountability necessary for high performing entrepreneurs and executives to achieve their health and wellness goals from anywhere in the world. At Professionally Fit, Lisa and her team help clients to bridge the gap between their health and their career. It is her belief that cognitive functioning, drive, energy, motivation, creativity and success are all heavily impacted by diet, exercise and mindfulness.
She launched The Black Health Academy in August 2017 after being inundated with requests from people in desperate need to work with someone to turn around their health, but who were financially unable to afford a personal coach. Lisa noticed a significant trend among these individuals in the ailments they were facing. Most were battling obesity/excess weight, hypertension, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, high stress environments, high cholesterol and chronic pain and fatigue. Her mission with the ACADEMY is to create an affordable pl
atform and interactive community where her people can come to identify solutions to treat/prevent these ailments in a safe environment built on integrity and expertise.
